Greenpatch Camping Ground and Picnic Area

Greenpatch, in Booderee National Park, is one of the South Coasts most popular beaches. It is a pristine, still, swimming beach with dazzling white sands and rock pools that accommodate an array of spectacular sea creatures;  The native trees at Greenpatch are home to the colourful Rainbow Lorikeet and the delightful Ringtail & Brushtail Possum. The campsites are set among this delightful setting.

Greenpatch is also one of the Parks most popular picnic areas and have wood and/or electric BBQs.

Accessibility:            Assisted

  • There are 3 designated parking spaces for day & weekend visitors.

  • Bitumen pathways to amenities and sheltered picnic & BBQ areas.

  • Assisted access to the beach via a timber boardwalk that crosses a small creek.

  • Fully accessible toilets; showers require assistance for wheelchairs.

  • Assistance may be needed for wheelchairs on grassy area of campsite.

For campsites it is advisable to book well in advance as camping is very popular in peak periods.

Bookings can be made up to four months in advance and the length of stay is limited to three weeks.

Two other camping grounds are in Booderee: Bristol Point & Cave Beach.
